TorqNm Perfomance Lubricants and C99 Limited.com, a car club of owners and enthusiasts of the Limited Edition Proton Wira 1.8 got together for a “Track Day” on the 7th November 2009. The event was held at the Dato’ Sagor Racing Circuit in Kampung Gajah, Perak


All the Limited Edition Proton Wira 1.8s that participated were fully equipped with the powerful 4G93 DOHC engine, Momo Steering and Recaro Bucket Seat which is just the perfect recipe for track outings like this. Club members experience the exposure and opportunity of driving competitively on the race track

• Time Attack Challenge
• Car Component Test (CCT).
With TorqNm as the main sponsor, Mohd Norhusairi and Fahmi as the organizers and support from Ultra Auto Services Mutiara Damansara, RED Motorsports, Pandan Jaya, and Lotus Malaysia, the C99 Track Day saw the participants having a great time as few members have never driven on the race track before. The main highlight of the event was the performance lubricants that were used for the cars, by TorqNm. Mohd Norhusairi, the event organizer said, “All the participants were very impressed with the performance churned out after using TorqNm. 'Drift Queen' turned rally-cross driver Leona Chin bags 2 trophies in this tough & challenging event. Driving a 'Hypertuner' tuned 200bhp Satria GTi, she did her team & sponsors proud by scoring such an awesome results in her rookie season.

Final Round - MAM Rally Sprint Series 2009

This weekend will be the final showdown for competitors in the MAM Rally Sprint Series 2009.

TorqNm backed drivers, the pairs of Megat Shazreal and Nana Mohamed (co-driver) and Leona Chin & Tan Chi Ming (co-driver) will be putting up a great fight this weekend.

On her participation of this race series, she performed well and acquires;

1. Junior champion in class

2. Novice champion in class

3. Ladies champion in class

TorqNm supports Leona in the MAM-SIC Rally X Series, Rd.3

Tomorrow is the Rd.3, of MAM-SIC RALLY X SERIES to be held at SIC. First run will start at 11am.

Megat Shazreal, TorqNm sponsored driver have to skip this round due to some personal reasons. However, after some great performances on previous rounds he is in a comfortable rangking in the series (Class A3).

TorqNm also supports Leona Chin (an upcoming female drift/rally driver) in her first race for this series. She will be driving a Proton Satria GTi 1.8

A product training on automotive lubricants was held on 12th July 2009. It was held successfully with full attendance of all whom have registered. It was a half day seminar and certificates were presented to each participating workshop. Each participating workshop was represented by 2 service personnel/officer.

This is a training is aimed to provide additional information regarding the various functions of lubricants and the importance selecting the correct lubes to various consumer's needs. It's a small group training hence with a better & closer interaction between the trainer & the trainees.

It is a successful event and ended up at lunchtime. The group headed for lunch together at Bandar Aman Puri and called it a day.
